Programs & Learning Communities

We provide innovative professional development opportunities for educators, artists, administrators and community members.

Art IS Education

Art IS Education is a regional initiative promoting youth arts learning across disciplines presented by the Alameda County Office of Education in partnership with the Alameda County Arts Commission.

Each March during National Arts Education Month, communities present visual and performing art events and workshops for youth and families at schools, libraries and community sites. The events are opportunities for engagement and the promotion of public support for art learning for every child, every day. Partners include the Alameda County Library, Alameda County Sustainability Program, and the Alameda County Health Care Services Agency. Find out more here.
